Let’s explore how coaching can be a game-changer in navigating challenges and turning them into possibilities.
My aim with these posts is to bring concrete examples of coaching topics and shed light on how coaching can help as a tool for personal and professional development.
A client came to coaching with a fear of uncertainty about restructuring at their current company and the direction of the company.
The client had thoughts like “Will I still have a job after this restructuring?” or “What will happen if I lose my job?” that kept on repeating.
The potential financial impact created stress for the client.
Throughout the coaching sessions, I helped the client process these states and get relief from talking about their challenges.
They then found the energy to think about what they wanted from their career in the future.
They felt motivated by the idea of having their own business. They had the business idea and created a preparation plan during our conversations.
The client became aware that they have a support group of peers who can help them with their business plan. They also drew learnings from their previous experience owning a business.
That resulted in the client feeling content that they have the necessary resources: self-confidence, persistence, openness, solution focus, adaptability, in order to find solutions to problems.
And they now have their own business, much sooner than they anticipated during our together.
If you’re struggling with a fear of uncertainty about starting something meaningful, working with me will get you the solution to your problem.
Send me a message and let’s work together to shift your mindset and get you the best out of your career.
